**Updated May 6th, 2021**

I hope your week is going well.

On April 27, 2021, the CDC released updated healthcare infection prevention recommendations in response to COVID-19 vaccination. Fully vaccinated patients and visitors are now able to visit in the Center without the requirement to wear face masks during the visit. While core infection control principles remain in place, including wearing a face mask when traveling to and from the visitation area inside the Center, we are moving closer to returning to normal operations.

We have a busy week ahead. Nurses Week is May 6-12, and we have celebrations scheduled during the week in recognition of the care and compassion shown by our nursing staff. The week will conclude with an outdoor religious service on Sunday, May 9, in honor of Mother’s Day. Outdoor visitation will be available on this day from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, and family members are asked to call in advance of your visit that day.

County Positivity Rate:  Increased to 6.1%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients: Staff are tested weekly based on county positivity rate. Patients are tested as needed based on symptoms or exposure.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff receive ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
Visitation:Virtual, window and scheduled indoor and outdoor visitation are all currently available. To schedule a visit, click here: https://woodlands-rehab.com/patient-visitations/.
*Previous cumulative data on COVID-19 may be found on the Center’s website: https://woodlands-rehab.com/.

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
