I hope you had a nice weekend. We are pleased to share that beginning this week, visits that take place Monday through Friday no longer require scheduling. During the weekdays, visiting hours are from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. We require that weekend visitation on Saturday and Sunday continue to be scheduled at this time.
Given the high rate of COVID-19 vaccination among staff and patients in the Center and the low number of positive cases in the Center this year, the information in our weekly updates has remained fairly unchanged in recent weeks. For this reason, we will begin posting the weekly COVID-19 updates to the Center’s website exclusively beginning August 1st, reserving text message and email notifications for positive case notifications and significant updates to Center operations such as visitation and special events as necessary. Our goal is to post the weekly update by Wednesday of each week.
We are committed to continuing to provide you with the most current information regarding COVID-19 in the Center on a weekly basis and as situations develop. The weekly COVID-19 updates may be viewed on the Center’s website: https://woodlands-rehab.com/covid19-updates/.
County Positivity Rate: Increased to 12.9%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients: Unvaccinated staff are tested weekly based on county positivity rate. Patients and staff may be tested as needed based on symptoms, exposure, or during an outbreak.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff have received ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
