Celebrating over 25 years at the Woodlands!
“Mary Jo is what you consider the best of the best and she is the person that you would want to employ and the type of person that all nurses should strive to become.” Angela Baldwin

On June 8th, 1992, Mary was hired here at The Woodlands .  Over 25 years, she has held many titles such as RN, RN Supervisor, Patient Care Coordinator, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Director of Nursing. Mary Jo currently holds the position as a registered nurse.  She began her nursing career at the age of 44.  Her reason for doing this was not for the money but she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives  and she enjoyed working with the elderly.  Mary Jo has always exhibited the highest standards and professionalism.  She is a kind and caring person.  She always goes above and beyond for the patients, families, and staff.

Mary Jo is known to be the cookie queen.  She will make her world famous cookies for the staff, patients and they will even be used for community events.  She asks nothing in return.  She often brings vegetables from her garden for all to enjoy.

In her free time, her hobbies include gardening, canning, and babysitting her great grandbaby.

On behalf of the Woodlands Health & Rehab Center, we want to thank Mary for ALL of her love & care for our patients and ALL of her hard-work & dedication to our center.  We love having you here and can’t wait for another 25 years with you!
